Huntington Beach, Calif. - The #23 ranked Golden West College women's volleyball team was upset in five sets 25-21, 23-25, 16-25, 26-24, 13-15 by LA Harbor College on Wednesday night.
The Rustlers never seemed to find their rythym in their rotations as they hit a paltry .133 over the five set match. Outside hitter Madison Holmes led Golden West in kills with 13 and Abigail Botana recorded eight kills and a block.
Setter Sophia Peterson did all she could and led the squad with 28 assists and middle blocker Jennifer Juarez recorded 3 block solos.
NEXT: Golden West will open conference play at Santiago Canyon College at 6pm.
