Women's Swimming Takes 4th In The State
In the first event of the meet, the Rustlers edged out second place and fellow Orange Empire Conference foe Orange Coast by .18 of a second to take home 1st place in the women's 200-yard Freestyle Relay. Golden West posted a time of 1:37.52 (Gabriela Cabrera, Saibrah White, Brooke Roy, Margaret Dix)

Morton wins O.E.C. swimmer of the year
Golden West’s freshman swimmer, Jade Morton, has been named Orange Empire Conference’s Co-Female Swimmer of the Year after claiming the conference titles in he 500 yard freestyle, 1650 yard freestyle and the 200 yard individual medley at the OEC Conference Championships at Fullerton College.

Swim begins training for hopeful season
The men and women’s swim teams of Golden West are preparing for their first meet on Friday, Feb. 11 going up against Riverside, Cypress and Santa Ana colleges.
