Rustlers fall to the Tigers
Golden West (1-1, 3-4) drops their first conference game of the 2011 Season to the Tigers, 13-44. Riverside City College (2-0, 7-0) continues to stomp their opponents as they set their quest on an undefeated season.

The Rustlers could not get much going against Riverside's defense while being held to only 8 first downs and only 133 yards rushing as the only ground they could cover all game was by Running Back Michael Pierre who had 13 carries for 144-yards. Fellow teammate Victor Moananu was the Rustlers next highest rusher and he carried the ball only 3 times for a total of 8 yards.
Rustler quarterback Raymond Hulzar, who came into the game after throwing for 331 yards in Golden West's win last week, was held to 11 of 25 passing for the 125. He was intercepted once.
Golden West looks to put this game behind them and focus on their next opponent, Southwestern College (0-2, 4-3). Game will be on Saturday, Oct 29th at 1:00pm. This will be Golden West College's Homecoming Game, as well as, the last home game for the Rustlers 2011 season.
