Golden West Men's Swim team clenched their 31st Conference Championship at Riverside City College. With a 141 points on second place, Orange Coast College the back-to-back Orange Empire champions move confidently toward the CCCAA State Championship.
Golden West's Men's swimming finished with a commanding lead over conference opponents Saddleback, Cypress and Fullerton. The hosts dominated the leader board in the days events, finishing first place in all 11 events swam, a Rustler took first and second place in 7 events, and rounded out the top 3 in 3 events.
Golden West maintained their standard of excellence hosting a conference dual meet with Orange Coast College and Cypress College, taking first place in 10 out of 11 events.
A total of 9 teams traveled to Golden West for their annual invite, with a Rustler finishing first in 10 of the 16 events.
Golden West traveled to Riverside for the 2014 season's first Orange Empire Conference meet. The defending CCCAA state champions Rustlers dominated in the water against hosts Riverside, as well as visiting Cypress and Santa Ana.
