Three Rustlers Named to ALL-OEC Team
Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West College Softball proudly announces that three standout student-athletes have been recognized for their exceptional performances during the 2025 season with All-Orange Empire Conference honors.
Desyree Arizmendi and Abbie Rainwater have been named to the All-OEC First Team, while Lola Weber earned Second Team honors.
Desyree Arizmendi – First Team All-OEC
A dominant two-way threat, sophomore pitcher and first baseman Desyree Arizmendi posted a stellar season both in the circle and at the plate. Offensively, she batted .377 with 26 hits, including 8 doubles and 2 home runs, driving in 19 runs while maintaining an impressive .580 slugging percentage. In the circle, Arizmendi was a true workhorse, appearing in 27 games with 14 wins and 9 complete games. She struck out 108 batters over 126 innings, boasting a 2.50 ERA and 1.17 WHIP.
Abbie Rainwater – First Team All-OEC
Sophomore outfielder Abbie Rainwater was a consistent offensive force all season. She hit .398 across 108 at-bats, collecting 43 hits, 20 RBIs, scoring 38 runs, and stealing an outstanding 32 bases. Her ability to get on base (.496 OBP) and create scoring opportunities (.454 slugging percentage) made her a key piece of the Rustlers' offensive engine. She also excelled defensively, committing just one error on the year for a .987 fielding percentage.
Lola Weber – Second Team All-OEC
A power presence behind the plate and at first base, sophomore Lola Weber delivered one of the most productive offensive seasons in the conference. She led the team with a .433 batting average, while slugging a team-best .722. Her 11 doubles, 4 triples, and 3 home runs drove in 36 runs, and she reached base in nearly half her plate appearances (.496 OBP). Defensively, Weber was a reliable anchor, posting a .982 fielding percentage over 170 total chances.
