Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Rustlers (2-11, 0-5) lost to visiting Cypress College 6-12. The Chargers (9-3, 4-1) had a slow start to the game, with the Golden West taking an early 2-0 lead in the first inning. Cypress quickly responded with a six run rally in the top of the second inning, and another three in the third. The Rustlers would do their best to battle back with four more runs earned, but it was not enough.
Ali Medina had an impressive day with two runs scored and an RBI, along with teammates Alexis Vincent, Randi Fehser, Sammy Abrahamson, and Aimee Corral who each scored a run.
