Season
With the end of the spring semester at Golden West comes the end of spring athletics.
Thanks to a dominant performance by sophomore pitcher Amanda Webster, the Rustlers softball team was able to pull themselves out of a three game losing streak in conference play, beating Fullerton 1-0.
The Rustlers softball team won their second consecutive conference game by defeating Orange Coast College by a score of 10-2 on Friday, March 18 at Golden West College. With their win Wednesday against Fullerton, the team has now won back-to-back games.
The women’s softball team left California en route to the Great Western Shootout tournament in Yuma, Arizona on a losing note, falling to Pasadena 10-3 at their home field on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
