Huntington Beach, Calif. – The Golden West College athletics department is excited to announce that all five 2017 home football games will be played on campus.
A tremendous thank you goes out to the Associated Students of Golden West College (ASGWC) for funding temporary bleachers and scoreboard to make the dream a reality.
Head football coach Nick Mitchell was ecstatic when told the news of a true season of home football games. He went on to exclaim "For 50 years Golden West College has had to travel every home game to our rival and sister school's stadium to play. This is truly a great accomplishment by our Athletic Director Albert Gasparian and the student government (ASGWC) here at Golden West to make this happen. Finally, home where we belong!"
