Beach Volleyball Earns 12th Seed in 3C2A Regional Playoffs
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — The Golden West College Rustlers Beach Volleyball program is back in postseason action, earning the 12th seed in the 2025 California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) Regional Playoffs. This marks the program's first return to the team regionals since the 2018 season, a significant milestone for the Rustlers.
Golden West will travel to face fourth-seeded Santa Barbara City College and fifth-seeded Orange Coast College in a three-team regional set to be held at East Beach (1235 E. Cabrillo Blvd.) in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The Rustlers will open regional play against familiar conference foe Orange Coast College at 10:00 a.m., before immediately turning around to face host Santa Barbara City College at 11:00 a.m. The team that posts the best record during the three-way competition will advance to the 3C2A State Championships.
