Huntington Beach, Calif. - The All Orange Empire Conference (OEC) team was announced Tuesday with six Rustlers earning a spot on either the first or second team.
McClure who was a second teamer last season, was named first team this season as she led the Rustlers with 10 goals scored and 7 assists. Another sophomore who stepped up this season, Ramirez was selected as a first teamer as she was second on the team with 8 goals scored with four assists. Rounding out the first teamers, freshman Kaylin Cruz was a versitile two way player. She could anchor the defense when called upon and then press up when becoming a forward as she netted 2 goals with 5 assists during the regular season.
A sophomore goalkeeper, Leanos tallied 59 saves while recorded 3 shutout victories. Torres, a sophomore midfielder, finished third on the team with 6 goals and 2 assists. Sandoval, another sophomore leader, played a huge part in the success of the offense as she netted 4 goals and tallied 5 assists.
