With 23 years of coaching experience, Robinson brings his extensive knowledge of the game to GWC for his second season with the Rustlers. Son of legendary football coach, John Robinson, David has seen plenty of big games as an assistant coach, including six Bowl appearances, most notably, the 1996 Rose Bowl and 1995 Cotton Bowl. David graduated from Long Beach State in 1987 after earning all-league recognition at Sonora High School and a national title at Fullerton College. He and his wife, Arleen, live in Buena Park.
