Omaha, Nebraska - Former two-year baseball standout Dillon Persinger transferred to California State University Fullerton with the hopes of having the chance to go to Omaha, Nebraska for the Division I College World Series eight team tournament.
Persinger has played in the Titans 59 of a possible 62 games and is hitting .293 with 3 home runs, 30 RBI's, and an impressive 18 stolen bases. He recorded a four hit game on June 1st against BYU going 4 for 5 with three runs scored and one RBI.
Last season with the Ruslter's, Persinger was a driving force that propelled the program to its first appearance in the CCCAA baseball state championship. He hit .367 with 19 RBI's, 35 runs scored, and 15 stolen bases.
